NORTH M9
Take the M9 towards Glasgow. At junction 9 take M80 signposted Glasgow, Carlisle. Stay on M80 /A80 for 14 miles, then branch left joining M73 , signposted The South, Carlisle.

After 5 miles M73 becomes M74 - keep in left hand lane then branch left for M74 Carlisle. Stay on the M74 towards Carlisle, until Junction 6, following the signs to the right for Hamilton as the slip road splits. You will come to a roundabout after ½ mile and you will see the hotel straight in front of you.
Turn right at the roundabout and then turn left at the next roundabout.

SOUTH M74
Travel north on the M74 following the signs for Glasgow. Exit the M74 at Junction 6, Hamilton/Motherwell. Follow the signs for Hamilton to the left. You will come to a roundabout after ½ mile and you will see the hotel straight in front of you.
Turn right at the roundabout and then turn left at the next roundabout.

EAST M8
Take the M8 towards Glasgow and exit at Junction , for M73/M74 signposted Carlisle. The M73 merges into the M74 and continue to follow the signs for Carlisle. Stay on the M74 until Junction 6, following the signs to the right for Hamilton as the slip road splits. You will come to a roundabout after ½ mile and you will see the hotel straight in front of you.
Turn right at the roundabout and then turn left at the next roundabout.

WEST M8
Take the M8 through Glasgow and follow the signs for the M73/M74 Carlisle. Stay on the M74 until Junction 6, following the signs to the right for Hamilton as the slip road splits. You will come to a roundabout after ½ mile and you will see the hotel straight in front of you.
Turn right at the roundabout and then turn left at the next roundabout.

Rail
Holiday Inn Express Hamilton is just a few minutes walk away from Hamilton Central Station. Trains run in both directions between here and Glasgow Central Station approximately every half an hour from 0600 hrs until close to midnight all week. The journey takes about 30 minutes.

Sea
Ferry access to Ireland is available via Stranraer on Scotland’s west coast, which is within about 1 hr 30 minutes drive. Alternatively, the new ferry terminal at Rosyth is just over an hour away, providing services directly to Zeebrugge in Belgium.
